Mark your agenda! Blomming will be hosting a panel about Social Commerce during Social Media Week, in Milan, Italy. Blomming adds another relevant tile to its pervasive Social Commerce strategy: a mobile application for iPhone. Available for download on the iTunes App Store at this link (in English, see below for other languages), this first release allows a complete browsing of the more than 200.000 products on catalogue and a fast and reliable mobile shopping experience, totally integrated with the Social features that you have on the platform. A new selling point for the more than 16.000 Shops than have chosen Blomming to sell on blogs, websites and Facebook pages, in addition to Blomming itself.

The year of the real start. We at Blomming will remember the 2012 in this way. Having received the €1.3Mln investment on July, 2012 (read the press releases, one and two), the staff has grown from four to ten people at the beginning of September already, and some marketing spending has begun. This has been made on international markets only, and gave an impressive boost to the growth. On Dec., 2012, the number of Shops opened was above 13.000 – they were 10.000 at the end of October. During the last month of the year we sold a number of products that was 700% bigger than in the same month of the previous year. Overall, in terms of subscribers, the 2012 growth against the 2011 has been better of a +500% rate. Portuguese is usually listed as the 7th most spoken language in the world, the 3rd most spoken language in the western hemisphere, and the most spoken language in the southern hemisphere. Two new features in the last release of Blomming. In order to make the share easier and more productive when you are on Facebook, now you can link directly to a product page within your Blomming Facebook Shop. And, when you are creating a new product page, now you can upload more than one image at once, also using a new drag and drop feature. Please note: now the minimum width or height of the image file is set to 640 pixels, in order to have a better looking listing. Here are the details.
